Responding to speculation about the involvement of hired hitmen, known as “inkabi,” in AKA’s murder, Cele chose not to delve into specifics but acknowledged,

“Let me not get in that one but those people, some of those people were hired. I guess once you’re hired you’re inkabi but some of those people were close associates.”

Social Media Sleuths Point to Prime Suspect

Following the release of CCTV footage depicting the rapper’s murder, social media users took it upon themselves to investigate. They pointed fingers at one of AKA’s longtime friends, Don Design, as a prime suspect in the tragic event.

Drawing parallels to Judas Iscariot’s betrayal of Jesus Christ with a kiss, these social media sleuths analysed the footage, which showed AKA hugging one of his friends for an extended period before bidding farewell.

As AKA concluded the hug and was about to part ways with another friend, an armed assailant suddenly appeared and fatally shot the musician in the head.
