Mnangagwa fires John Mangudya
President E.D Mnangagwa has in terms of Section 14 of the Reserve Bank Act appointed John Mushayavanhu as the new Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor.
Mushayavanhu is by beginning his term on the 28 th of March 2024, ending on the 27th of April 2029.
He takes over from John Mangudya whose term of office was due on the 30 th of April but has been forced to resign.
Governor John Mushayavanhu’s appointment was communicated by the Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube.
