Linda Masarira’s husband Bongani Mlotshwa to perform 350hrs of Community Service
Lead Zimbabwe leader Linda Masarira’s 29-year-old husband, Bongani Mlotshwa, has been sentenced to 15 months in jail.
The prison term has been suspended by the Epworth Magistrates’ Court, and he will now perform 350 hours of community service for domestic violence.
On 5 May 2024, Bongani punched the 41-year-old LEAD president three times in the eye after she found him sleeping in her daughter’s room.
Bongani was found guilty of contravening Zimbabwe’s Domestic Violence Act after physically assaulting Masarira.
