Linda Masarira speaks after being assaulted by her husband
LEAD Zimbabwe leader Linda Masarira has demanded privacy after being assaulted by her husband Bongani Mlotshwa.
This comes after Linda allegedly caught Bongani in bed with her 22 year old daughter.
Taking to X, Masarira said she needs space to sort out her issues without the media sensationalising her situation.
“I respectfully request that the media grant me privacy during this challenging time. I’m currently dealing with personal issues that require my attention, and my mental health is a top priority”, wrote Linda.
The politician suffered injuries, including nearly losing her left eye, due to her husband’s assault.
“I kindly ask that you allow me the space to sort out my affairs without sensationalizing my situation for the sake of selling papers. Thank you for your understanding and respect”, said Masarira.
